“Poesía alada, poesía y arte para volar” Review

I enjoyed reading all the poems in this book “Poesía alada, poesía y arte para volar” by Mariana Llanos. The illustrations are fun and helped me have a closer connection with the poems. I did like how the illustrations are made by different illustrators, not just one. This feature brought more creativity to the book. My favorite poem and illustration is the yellow tree one by Mariana Llano’s “El árbol amarillo.” My toddler also enjoyed the book, he really liked the artwork. This book is perfect for children and youth as well. I definitely appreciated is to read the poems in Spanish and also, how some of these poems brought back memories of my childhood.
