Cactus Adventure 🌵

Where are my Cactus Lovers at? Being a Florida Resident has its perks! I love exploring the outdoors, especially since everything is new for my one year old son. He is in his exploring stage, so why not? This summer I decided to pick up some friends and take a mini road trip to the Florida Cactus Inc. Nursery in Apopka, FL. A FUN place to visit to see the beautiful Cacti & Succulents!

As soon as we arrived, we headed to the front office to get a map and the details of how enjoy our tour through the greenhouses. We started by taking a look at all the cute succulents, then the baby cacti of all shapes and sizes, and towards the end we finally got to see the bright colorful cacti. There were so many colors and sizes to choose from. We were so excited to take some of these babies home.

I gave myself a limit of 3 to take home: a grafted pink cactus, an opuntia- bunny shaped cactus and a beautiful pink echeveria succulent- in the shape of a flower. This was such a fun experience and I learned a lot. If you are in Central Florida, definitely go check it out and treat yourself to a super cute mini cactus! Do not be discouraged if you are not experienced with plants, the staff was friendly to explain how to take care of them, and these only need a good watering once a month!
